NEWS: Lachie Hunter | Very impressive debut by son of Mark. Got plenty of the ball and hit the scoreboard. Played on no slouch (Chris Newman). Definitely a downgrade option to look at to make some cash to premium up down the track. YODEES 13

NEWS: Max Bailey ruptured his ACL, this time on his good knee in the first quarter of the match against Essendon in round 22, putting him out for most of next season. | Bailey just had the one clearance in the opening bounce.

NEWS: Matthew Richardson once more had a dominant role for Richmond in the round 8 loss to Geelong. 20 disposals, 13 marks and a goal in a strong performance all over the ground. He took on a number of class opponents yet rarely seem beat. | Richardson continues his stellar 2008 season as the game's premier fantasy forward. Richo is thriving in this new free-roaming role, racking up marks, posessions and goals - all key fantasy stats. A definite for any fantasy team in this form.
| ||||
NEWS: Adrian De Luca was picked for his first game since round 10 after recovering from a stress fracture injury in his foot. | De Luca will probably take a while to warm up, but he might be worth a look towards the fantasy finals.
| ||||
NEWS: Bradley Fisher was named in the Carlton side to take on St Kilda after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury fromt eh preseason and spending some time playing in the VFL. | Fisher is the sort of big, strong-marking forward who has fantasy potential when he's up and running, but don't expect anything at all from him this season.
| ||||
NEWS: Angelo Lekkas was named in the round 14 side to play Geelong after recovering from a preseason stroke.. | Lekkas will take a while to warm up and thus fantasy coaches would not take the chance on him too early.
| ||||
NEWS: After being dropped for round 13, Brad Scott was named in the Lions side to play Melbourne in round 14. | Brisbane has obviously embraced a youth policy this year, but Scott still gets a game when he is fit.
| ||||
NEWS: Mark McGough was roundly criticised on radio after his game in round 7 against Geelong, with several commentators questioning whether he was able to keep up in high-pressure games. He collected 20 touches and six marks. | McGough was a late replacement for Aaron Hamill after not being picked in the last four games. He may get more game time in the next little while with injuries to Harvey and Jones, so he will have some opportunity to prove the naysayers wrong.
| ||||
NEWS: Cameron Thurley was a late replacement for Steve Johnson in round 7 against the Saints, and he showed why he is reputedly the best kick for goal at the club by slotting two majors from seven possessions. | Thurley will get a few more games this year based on this performance, but it will take better numbers than that to perk up fantasy interest.
