edsters – def Raines, Silvagni is still going up in $, and doesn’t get the top defenders each week, where as Raines always has a negative job to do.

Monty, any chance of posting the emergencies, always make for interesting reading, with Boyd named as an emerg this week.
Any think he will play?? Already have Mitchell and Shuey, and don’t want to play 1 short again.

gruby – Silvagni is going to come under pressure for Job Security.. back on the rookie list if thornton comes back isn’t he??

edsters – Silvagni still got at leat 3 weeks of playing, that may be all we need for him to reach his peak $ value, at least another $80k…
My mids have Boyd, Mitchell, Martin and Shuey, want to hold out on the trading of the kids, but I think I will have to bite the bullet and upgrade Martin – money coming from Riemers to Davis – injuries are killing me.

I’ve got such a dilemma in my midfield. I’ve got GAJ, Montagna, Barlow, Watson, Dyson, Corey & Boyd. With Corey missing selection again I’m thinking of dropping him for Judd (I’ve got heaps of spare cash), but I wanted to offload Dyson due to him topping out. The problem is then I still have to offload another mid next week due to too many high priced mids.

    What would you guys do?

WTF either he is playing or he is not. The AFL needs to stamp out false and misleading team sheets. How can Boyd be named as an emergency.

brent stanton likely to play? injured back? howlett come in for him?

    April 29, 2010 at 9:12 pm

Pretty simple really. They would prefer to give Boyd 1 more week. But if they really needed him, he could play. Just covering their options.

This may be Silvagni’s last week as Grover due back at the WAFL next week unless DeBoer is relegated. SCOSOS is worth waiting for though with a BE of 34 and a guaranteed score against McKinley/Brown this week.

Dangerfield out for Davis, frees up an extra $130K odd. Double trade next week – midpriced centre to GAJ and hopefully Selwood drops in value again this week so centreline will be GAJ, Bartell, Swan, Vince, Selwood with Barlow and Trengove still rising.

silvagni is doing well enough to only be replaced by grover in my opinion, and he isnt due for another 2-3 weeks.

After trading Ball up to Judd and Seaby to Cox this week to bolster my midfield, this is what bloody Sam Mitchell does to thank me! With those boys in the side he’d surely get even more of the footy! Selfish Sam Mitchell. Very selfish.

And then Rohan Bail gets listed as an emergency! With Banner in my last spot, it’s looking like a second midfield donut in two weeks…

Hi monty, it would be good if there’s a login panel in this blog section. Its annoying having to go back to the home page to Login again to leave a reply.

@Shiri – There is no point trading Corey and Boyd. They will be back soon enough and they are premium keepers. Don’t waste the trades.

    April 30, 2010 at 4:32 am

    @ Numberwang.

No, Silvagni doesn’t have 2-3 weeks, he disappears back to the rookie list as soon as Grover is available to play any sort of football.

Hey guys, looking to make a couple of trades this week but i’m struggling to make a final decision.

Option 1 – Hunt out for Hams, Armitage out for Judd/Gibbs
Option 2 – Martin out for Kayler-Thomson, Diledio for Judd/Gibbs/Swan?

    thoughts?

moles and martin out this week who is likely to return sooner if boyd is back this week or next…is moles ankle serious enough to turf him??

    April 30, 2010 at 1:45 pm

Dunlop – they can drop whoever back. They dropped Pearce and Van Berlo from the team this week. One of the rookies had to go back to the main list anyway (Tim Ruffles is ready to resume in the WAFL). If Grover resumes in the WAFL next week, that just means a second one has to go back, which will probably be the other one out of Pearce and Van Berlo that isn’t demoted this week. It’s unlikely to be Silvagni, they will keep him on the senior list until Grover is ready to actually play.
