@tim definetly option 3, wait till sidebottom is NAMED for his 3rd game b4 getting him, same goes for Broughton (also Hill still has upside). Plus, Taylor Walker is playing against Melbourne and should do pretty well.

Question for everyone and anyone – Do Geelong players generally average better or worse down at KP in the wet and windy conditions? I know that efficiency is most likely to be down but you’d think hard ball gets would be up… Anyone got any cold hard facts on the matter?

Damo Jimmy B loves it wet at KP (ave 130 ). Never doubt Ablett down there (easily gets over 120 – 140 ). Only issue is i think Ablett did his ankle in the wet at KP last year. Worried about Chappy’s hamstrings though in the wet

What is the point of offering the stats on delay if they are hopelessly out of synch with the telecast?
I understand it not being accurate at the start of the televised match, but by halftime you really should have them lined up if you’re going to bother at all.
There’s not much point me watching most of the third quarter hoping Goddard will touch the footy – I know it won’t happen now, don’t I?

Yeah its a bit frustrating, but just check at the intervals and watch the game mate, DT is an easy game to add up.
Not Montys fault channel 7 makes qtrs go for longer than they actually do.
I dont expect him to sit at home watching the telecast just so it can sync up with fanfooty stats.
Its better than nothing.

i quite like a slight delay. if it was instantaneous we would just take it for granted and not watch for the scores to be added 9 hooray! this being-online-plus-watching-and-commenting business is new to me and a bit strange but i like how it works. plus we get in ahead of the count in our comments.
but i had a fair bit of trouble getting on to the ff live update pages earlier today. page wouldn’t load – but several times the ad at the top loaded fine, and then the rest stalled and the stats didn’t come up. didn’t much like that.

I have taken a fairly large cross section and found that all supercoach score when combining both team tally up to within 5 to 10 points of 3300 everytime. Why is this so????

Supercoach has always done this as far as I am aware.
It is to do with “momentum” points and influence on the game etc and to ensure consistency between games (i.e unlike DT the total points in any one game is limited, but a players score within that total is not).
It is also why scores can go backwards for no apparent reason and somethings get massive points. i.e kick to win game gets lots more points than goal in first quarter.
Basically, points are weighted to get to the overall total.
