Another repeat inside 50 for Geelong but O’Connor’s long ball to the square is off hands of the four-man pack for a point. (Q1 8:17)
Atkins passes short to Holmes on the boundary 35m out, who screws his set shot into the near goalpost. (Q1 8:59)
Dangerfield catches Weller HTB 30m out on a slight angle, who had run into his own man Collins trying to get out of trouble. The captain boots the first goal of the day. (Q1 11:13)

3:49 to go and still four kicks in it, too late for the Cats unless something stupid happens. They haven’t played nearly well enough to deserve to pinch it either. (Q4 24:30)
