Saints are on fire out of the blocks tonight as they win another clearance, bring it out to the forward flank and then get it into Geary’s hands for a great boundary goal from 50. (Q1 4:33)
STeven tries to rove a pack in the goalsquare, but his soccering shot misses and lets Collingwood bring it quickly to the other end of the ground for a running varcoe goal (Q1 7:18)
Saints go central from the wing but it gets cut off by the Collingwood press, letting Dwyer run in straight in front of goal and kick a long 6 pointer from 50 out. (Q1 9:18)
Saints enter the 50 going straight for McCartin, but his sliding attempt at a mark completely misses. This works out in the Saint’s favor as they hand it out to Sinclair for a goal (Q1 13:32)
Billings goes for a snapping shot at goal and misses wildly, but Dunstan marks in the pocket and wastes no time centering to Steven. He gets a push after marking for a 50 and goal. (Q1 15:04)

Throw in inside 50 for the Pies gets tapped straight down from Grundy, gathered by Swan and quickly snapped right through the middle for a goal. (Q1 24:04)
Saints win the clearance and go forward with the press, the Pies defense rebound it out of defensive 50 but Newnes kicks it straight back to Bruce 20 out in the pocket for a goal. (Q1 24:55)
Langdon plays the quarterback role to a throw in on the pies’ 50 and kicks to the hotspot 30 out where Elliott takes a mark reminiscent of the Gary Ablett Snr for a goal. (Q1 30:04)

Membrey beats out Brown for a mark on the 50 arc and wheels around to kick to the open Steven 25 out on a slight angle. Steven marks and lines up for goal but misses barely. (Q2 8:10)
From one end to the other Collingwood manage to use smart footskills to carve up the Saints and let Gault get a very easy mark in the pocket and goal. (Q2 10:03)
Broomhead tackles Fisher on the wing and gathers the spoils after a tap from Williams to run and kick to the mismatch of Savage and White where the tall marks in the pocket to goal (Q2 15:02)
Dane Swan manages to find himself some space in congestion at CHF to turn and chip a composed kick to Grundy alone 35 out in front of goal. He takes the overhead mark and goals. (Q2 20:33)
Sam Fisher gives away a free kick for holding against Cloke inside 50 and Delaney kicks the ball away to give him the 50 metre head start and a goal from the goal line. (Q2 23:03)
Ball up at half forward for the Saints gets knocked around the pack before some quick hands release Armitage for a running goal from 45. (Q2 27:50)
Some good protection around a grounded contest at Collingwood’s half forward flank allows for the quick kick forward to be made which falls for Dwyer who runs in to goal. (Q2 30:51)
Saints win the first clearance of the third quarter and through some quick hands and Armitage’s boot kick it to Membrey 40 out on the 45. He lines up and kicks the goal. (Q3 1:28)
Jack Steven almost makes it 2 in a row for the Saints as he gathers 70 metres away from goal on the flank and runs unopposed to the arc and bombs but misses slightly to the left. (Q3 2:32)
Collingwood bring it out of defense from the kick in very quickly and through a good chip from Swan to Elliott 35 out right in front get an easy mark and goal. (Q3 4:32)
Fisher switches the play from half back to Steven completely alone on the other side’s wing for an easy run and kick to Schneider 30 out. The 60 degree angle shot makes him miss. (Q3 8:47)
Dwyer nabs the ball off a contest near the boundary 70 out from the Pies’ goal to hand it to Toovey who kicks to Elliott for a mark and simple goal 5 out from the goal line. (Q3 10:44)
Collingwood get it out of the centre to Pendlebury inside 50 who marks but quickly chips it to Swan 40 out right in front for a mark but his set shot misses. (Q3 12:29)
Membrey slaughters the ball deep in defense and kicks it right into Cloke’s chest 20 out right in front. Luckily for him, however, Cloke sprays the ball himself and gets a behind (Q3 15:29)
Oxley receives a handpass from Brown at half forward for Collingwood and kicks to Elliott 35 out on a sharp angle who marks despite Weller’s efforts to spoil. He slots it through. (Q3 18:15)
The centre bounce falls for Collingwood and Broomhead who runs out and kicks long inside fifty where Cloke shoves Fisher out of the way to mark. He misses from in front again. (Q3 20:00)
Williams gets the ball on the wing and kicks to White on the flank who hands it to Swan to kick to Blair right in front 35 out from goal. He goes back and kicks truly. (Q3 28:00)
Pendlebury takes a high tackle just inside 50 and does everyone’s fantasy teams a huge favour by handing it off to Oxley for a long running goal from 55. (Q4 4:38)
Oxley gets himself a free for a high tackle and the advantage is taken quickly so they can move the ball to Cloke on the lead. He marks 45 out on a sharp angle and kicks it through (Q4 6:44)
Saints get themselves a little consolation prize after runs from Steven and Schneider get it inside 50 and Armitage sneaks away with a goal after hanging around the contests. (Q4 10:54)
Pies go out of the middle again and kick it forward where Dwyer marks 30 out but he struggles with the 45 angle and barely misses to the left. (Q4 12:25)
McCartin gets the ball at centre half back and kicks wide to Newnes who marks on the wing to kick and gather the hands back to kick again to Bruce 35 out right in front for a goal. (Q4 13:49)
Collingwood go in and out of their 50 too many times to count before a Dwyer snap gets a behind. They get it back, but Cloke’s pocket free only yields a behind. (Q4 17:56)
Saints can’t seem to find a way out of their defense as they turn it over again which leads to more slippery play and a spinning Cloke snap in the pocket gets a goal. (Q4 19:58)
Cloke manages to get his fifth goal after Dwyer takes a very easy mark unopposed deep in the forward 50 and hands it over to him for the lazy goal. (Q4 23:44)
Paddy McCartin drops an easy mark at half forward, but his gather is top notch and he drills it to Billings 30 out near the boundary. His set shot misses to the far left side. (Q4 25:16)
Swan takes an easy mark at half forward and turns to go to Karnezis alone 35 out right in front for the easy strolling in goal. (Q4 28:56)
