NAB round 3 teams

Lachlan McQueen-Miscamble is not a big name in football, but he’ll be wearing Hawks colours on Saturday.

bombers side is out (you have squad).

Key midfielder Jobe Watson and rising stars Jay Neagle and Scott Gumbleton have been withdrawn from the Essendon squad for tomorrow’s NAB Cup Semi-Final against Collingwood.

    from their website.

Totally off the beaten track guys, why does the Fantasy Freako’s news letter, which i rcvd today, not contain any s/c info?

There’s only one official DT, and it’s not sullied by that Today / Tonight reprint, the HeraldSun*.

    * that being said, I appreciate that SC rewards better players.

Do you take pride in being an elitist Brad?
Your the saddest case of elitism I have ever seen, you can’t even spell…

    Well, well.
Went fishing and caught myself a PeterRuss and a Barry within 5 minutes of dropping my line in the sewer, a new record.
Just gagging boys, take a naprogesic, get a hot water bottle and lighten the F@&K up.

    play nice now girls

we’re all here to discuss footy (i assume)… i personally wanna see raines, rance, houlihan, hill and whole list of others to funk this week

the teams being posted up are getting waaay too similar… go out and watch a few games people!! thats what these competitions are encouraging!

“Lachlan McQueen-Miscamble is not a big name in football”

This is just Hawthorn related fluff. Just a tip Monty, keep it relevant or you risk losing your readership.

    March 5, 2009 at 6:34 pm

    Rodger agreed.
Apologies Monty, PeterRuss and Barry, that was uncalled for.

Justin agree with your comments regarding similar team structures.
How many tems will contain Malceski, Houlihan, Raines etc.
The difference each week may come down to who you pick as captain as i have seen no teams apart from 1 or 2 that have really broken the mould this year.

Hey Monty, is Renouf able to play Rd 1. I thought I could remember him being suspended?

Will Heath Scotland play a practice match this pre season?
Would appreciate thoughts from the Blues fans if he will he play Round 1 if he doesn’t?

The injuries at Hawthorn are absolutely a big fantasy story, Rodger. The fact that they have had to call up Box Hill players is an indication as to how depleted they are, which obviously gives opportunities to fantasy smokies.

Simon, Renouf was under a club suspension for his shenanigans but that finished this week.

    Brad, mood swings much? lol.

Tha Hawks team is a joke, hopfuly Danger gets a chance to rip them up 😛

  17. Chad

    March 5, 2009 at 9:18 pm

no point getting opportunities in nab challenge monty. Most of those fantasy smokies wont be playing in round 2 or 3 of the real season.

XztatiK Dangerfield was a dud decision. Can’t even get a pre-season game.

Where’s Jordan Lisle? Finishing high school?

  20. Phillip Molly Malone

    March 5, 2009 at 9:42 pm

XztatiK: Yes it is a joke but not them taking the piss or anything, that is how depleted the hawks are at the moment! Some are rested, but with the injury list they have, would you blame them?

    March 5, 2009 at 9:57 pm

robinson being resting shows rattens intentions to play him round one

    March 6, 2009 at 4:04 am

it’s all relevant – that’s why we’re reading it, obsessing over team choices and young smokies. keep up the good work mr m.
a lot of us will end up with similar teams, but that’s largely because the bargains seem fewer this year, particularly with supercoach, and for the well-researched they stand out. e.g. there aren’t many good deals on likely backmen other than raines, houlihan and perhaps grundy, but he’s a risk.

  26. Chad

    March 6, 2009 at 7:13 am

agree stevo, good sign for robinson.

    March 6, 2009 at 9:48 am

Brad if you are still fishing, stay out of the water, obviously you are having your period, you will end up as shark food !

I’d suggest most teams will differ in the forward line & midfield, that is where the diff will be. Backs agree will be similar.

    March 6, 2009 at 9:53 am

Is Jordan Lisle injured? The kid looks like he has some potential, but is not even named in a squad with Box Hill players…

  29. Eddie

    March 6, 2009 at 10:08 am

    Rodger:

Lachlan McQueen-Miscamble is a bloody big name in football even bigger than Simon Prestigiacomo. 7 letters bigger in fact. I challenge you to find a bigger name!

Keep up the good work monty
