    Blair is blah
    After missing one or two senior games in each of the previous six seasons, Jarryd Blair was sent to the VFL twice in 2017, a level for which he is way too good. His AFL form was much less impressive, going at less than a goal per game from a career worst 12 disposals in a very deep forward pressure role.
    Blair has been a symbol of Nathan Buckley's short horizons as a coach, and whether he should be resigned was a hot topic among Pie fans in the off season. He did sign for one more year, despite Josh Daicos, Callum Brown and Kayle Kirby all looking for work in their second season. Ignore.
