In the first year at his third club, Dom Tyson couldn't get up for more than four VFL games with calf issues, then a shoulder dislocation which led to surgery. At his best in his Demon days he was a solid contributor in the bottom end of the midfield rotations with middle-round value, lacking a weapon to set himself apart from the crowd but not letting the side down in any department either.One of a high number of B-grade journeymen brought in by North in recent off seasons to bolster a list full of holes Tyson is, like a lot of other recycled players on the Kangaroo list, meant to be a best 22 player in an even side with a high floor of performance. The only thing stopping him from regaining his best form from his time at Melbourne is fitness. A decent Marsh series will start his fantasy hype machine. -
