    Breaking into the senior side for round 9 after some impressive VFL form, Tim Smith had two good games before a knock to the back in round 11 stopped his form line in its tracks, and one further appearance in round 14 was also nondescript. He delivered some big numbers for Casey once he had recovered, but by that time the seniors were too strong for a recall.
    The departure of Jesse Hogan means there is a vacant spot in attack, and while attention by fantasy coaches is all going on Braydon Preuss to play a forward/ruck role for obvious reasons, it may well be the more natural forward who earns the spot. This is a positional battle worth putting on your watchlist in the JLT, as Smith could be the dark horse.
