As he did in 2016, Sam Gilbert played his role as third tall defender and let Dylan Roberton do most of the creative work on the counter.Gilbert's scoring has dropped away since his glory days, as he doesn't have the licence to run up the ground much any more. The club will hope Hugh Goddard is fit enough to replace him in 2018. -
