Finding the footy has never been an issue for Nick Graham. Finding the right spot in a senior AFL team is more problematic, as he has never managed to convince the Blues hierarchy under multiple coaches to play him consistently in his natural inside midfield role. Off a HFF, he accumulates on the outside and disposes at a respectable 70% efficiency.The Blues hemmed and hawed in the post season before committing to a second straight one-year contract for Graham. With Bryce Gibbs gone, they will have to play him in the guts at some point. He should be front and centre in the line to eat up Gibbs' midfield minutes and stoppage attendances. The JLT should give some clues as to his job security. -
