When we were in our early 20's he was focused on his footy and i had my cricket. It was on my 23rd birthday that we decided we wanted a min-break from our lives so we decided to form a band. I also called up Ian Callinan who is my 2nd cousin to play the drums. Us three travelled throughout South Australia and played gigs at local taverns and clubs. At one in particular club in the south-side of whyalla we came across Pavlich and co having a few beers. When we asked him why he wasn't in WA playing for the dockers, he turned around and smacked me over the head.
