    Former US College basketballer Matthew Owies impressed at the Northern Blues as a small forward, slotting 18 majors from 17 appearances, highlighted by a five-goal showing against Footscray.
    Owies pleasantly surprised coaching staff with his progression to the point where he was named a senior emergency. In 2020, don't expect him to leap that hurdle and progress any further, as he sits way down the pecking order with the influx of new talent. Avoid.
