Lynch winched out of GC
One of the worst-kept secrets in footy last season was that Tom J. Lynch wanted out of Gold Coast, and he eventually got his trade to Richmond, which has a recent history of fielding a phalanx of midgets in attack. He should be used to that as he didn't have a lot of help around him at the Suns either, battling a PCL injury last year and eventually going down like Gulliver in Lilliput. He is no guarantee to be ready for round 1 of 2019, but at his best he can average three goals from 15 touches per game. The Tigers will have to rebuild their forward line to make full use of Lynch, as he has a very different game to that of their premiership CHF Jacob Townsend. He will draw targets and opponents, so it remains to be seen whether he more often starts deep to allow Jack Riewoldt to continue his roving commission, or whether Richmond will use him mostly as a lead up target at half forward. His questionable injury status means he should drop through middle rounds, as you may have to carry him for a while.
