Wonderful career. Was a star. - maddo - 158 months ago
what a great career - GoLions - 158 months ago
got him... - fossburger - 176 months ago
Well i don't play supercoach mate so i can't comment on anything regarding that. i guess that's how our opinions differ.. - Mike_Oxbig - 186 months ago
Most of Cross' handballs are contested possessions which makes him a great supercoach player. He has a stddev of approximatley 14 in SC and his lowest score this year is 77 (his only game under 100) whilst his lowest score for all of last season was 85. His average is higher than Power's this season aswell by a good 10 points in SC (although he is 5 points worse in DT). His extra price is well worth it as he wont bob up with a 40 game like Power tends to every third or fourth week. - ant.bauer - 186 months ago
so with DT avgerages over 90 for the last 6 or 7 years and you don't consider that consistent? hmm.. i agree Daniel Cross is very consistent, if you want to consistently get 20-30 points worth of handballs every week where they could be kicks, marks or tackles for other players? He is also about 30-40k more than Power on average so it just comes down to preference and affordability really.. also, apart from Gary Ablett, there aren't many other players that can totally demolish a tag week to week anyway.. - Mike_Oxbig - 186 months ago
Weird player, really hard to pick in your side as you said - inconsistent. Though there are some real doozies like that at the moneny. Think of the poor suckers who traded in guys like Fev and Sam Mitchell. I reluctantly got Buddy in two weeks ago and at least when he's not forward effective - Clarko can throw him into the midfield and he'll still bring home an SC century. That would never happen with the Fev. He just stay in the forward 50 and slowly go mad over a game if he wasn't getting enough of it. And Sam Mitchell - to tag or to be tagged, that means he is sometimes turning in 60's and 80's after givin a 145. Frustrating - and glad I have niether of them. And dont get me started on the utterly usless Travis Cloake................. - chucknorris - 186 months ago
Season to season yeh defintley as his numbers show and as you mentioned he can rake in massive scores due to his ability to set up scoring opportunities and his tackling. He can't handle a tag to save himself and is also getting quite old. - ant.bauer - 186 months ago
Perhaps they mean season to season. His scores do fluctuate massively week to week, but is a player who can rake in the really big scores and as can be seen from his season ppg, scores a fair few by the end of the season. - Rossy - 186 months ago
Luke Power consistent? Hmm no. Daniel Cross is consistent, Luke Power is erratic and turns to shit when tagged. He has a stddev of 39.76 this season in SC and 23.40 in DT. - ant.bauer - 186 months ago
totally agree mOnty. consistent as they come and massively overlooked by a lot of DTers i imagine. - Mike_Oxbig - 186 months ago
    A nice little player. - m0nty - 190 months ago
