    Barker Lewis can lose
    Following a couple of unbecoming early games, Lewis Young spent most of the year at VFL level before breaking into the seniors on the cusp of finals after being named in Footscray's best players 50% of the time. Going by averages, Young actually finished fourth in the competition for intercepts.
    Now in his fourth season at Whitten Oval, Young has pressure to take his game to the next level and lock in a spot in the best 22. Unfortunately for the emerging defender, boom recruit Alex Keath plays his position. Without much fantasy relevance or job security as yet, Young is best overlooked.
