Laidley is using both Harding and Firitto in the midfield in an effort to inject a) some pace and b) some grunt that was sorely lacking. Harding will definitely provide good value for money if he doesn't suffer a recurrence of his knee injury (about 2 years ago). Laidley put this strategy in the press during pre-season and good to see he's stuck to his guns for round 1 at least. - Arnold - 187 months ago • Ok so it was against Melbourne, but Dean Laidley's decision to make him a regular midfielder should mean he gets a few othr high scores, unless the press is just more laidly BS.
