Former Docker Lachlan Weller continued to improve off the half back flank last season, proving a cornerstone to the Suns build up play. Producing career highs in disposals, marks and ranking 16th across the competition for metres gained, Weller's highlight performance came against the Hawks in round 22, collecting 29 touches and six marks.Weller best performances have come at half back, although the club are perhaps even more in need of drive between the arcs and he has been training with the midfield group over summer. A reliable fantasy defender with potential for positional upside, his draft position should move upwards from middle rounds with a good Marsh series. -
