Recruited from the SANFL as a mature-aged player, Jonathon Beech didn't crack the senior team in 2016 but reminded everyone why he was drafted with seven goals from 14 touches for Adelaide's seconds in their elimination final. Playing off a wing, his better games are capped with bags of goals.With Rory Atkins holding down one wing, the other is still up for grabs. Beech is going to have to beat at least two of Richard Douglas, David Mackay, Wayne Milera and Charlie Cameron to make the grade. He didn't appear in last year's JLT despite being fit, so he should pique your interest if he goes on show this year, since his SANFL stats suggest he could score early. -
