    Garlett off target
    Dropped after round 5 on the end of games with five and six disposal, Jeff Garlett was given a reprieve in round 16 and lasted until round 21, when he failed to lay a tackle, and missed the finals. He finished with 18.11 from 11 games, a far cry from 42.28 the season prior.
    Garlett is a victim of the trend started by Richmond to value small forwards more for their pressure than their pure goalscoring nous. Jeffie isn't getting any younger, and if he wants to fight his way back into the team he will need to deliver multiple tackles inside 50 per game. He is not a fantasy player in any case.
