TAGS (life club position role style health) (FF #658) 2018 DT PRE-SEASON OUTLOOK (posted 22 Dec 2017) Stop sign for Waite
2017 was like most other seasons for Jarrad Waite: some sensational performances, some duds, a couple of injuries, a suspension, and at the end of it a sense that we never saw his best for long enough. He started in defence in some games playing a role similar to Justin Westhoff and in others was a more traditional CHF specialising in marks inside 50. Old man calf injuries restricted him to two games in the last two months.Waite has played only seven of the past 21 post-bye games, and this is the reason his draft value should be suppressed to be even lower than his average suggests. He is highly unlikely to still be on the park come fantasy finals time, particularly if the Roos have to play the kids late as they did last season. Expect to see the likes of Tristan Xerri or Ben McKay taking his spot late on, and mark him down beyond draftable range. -

PLAYER DISCUSSION • Only out there for five minutes but just long enough to get himself reported. Do Carlton have an assembly line for producing half-wit full forwards? - CamT - 163 months ago • I had him penciled in until he changed from a B/F to just a Fwd. He could easily be a 110 point player in SC if he stopped doing stupid sh!t. Its one of those things if you pick him he has to stay in, trying not to let my bias as a Carlton fan get the better of me at the moment ;) - Judd005 - 165 months ago • er. i mean without henderson - reconfigrr - 165 months ago • With Henderson maybe he will find even more pill up forward? - reconfigrr - 165 months ago • Will have learnt his mistakes from tribunal last year and will be very under-estimated this season, I reckon he's in for a big year SC-wise. - Moonwalker - 165 months ago • very naughty in 2010 is Waite. - BigV2011 - 171 months ago • Too much trips to the tribunal. Trading him for Voldt. - BigV - 171 months ago • bloody sick of you getting reported all the time jarrad gr - haooyy - 171 months ago • and the definition of "slow learner" is what exactly. - CamT - 172 months ago • Cleared by Tribunal. - CamT - 173 months ago • haha fair ebough Disco DB ;) - Gibblet - 173 months ago • I live in London currently, so yes. Thanks @Gibblet. - Disco DB - 173 months ago • Disco DB do you live in a cave, he was suspended - Gibblet - 173 months ago • Why is this fella not playing? - Disco DB - 173 months ago • so people say not to pick him up at the start of year and see how he plays after his injury. his played 5 games now with the last 2 rounds scoring over 100 in sc. is he back to his best? is it time to jump on after his suspension bare in mind his breakeven is only 9. - woofy - 173 months ago • I wouldn't this round, he'll probably be out for a couple for his elbow to Davenport's head. - Hevvie - 173 months ago • Anyone else thinking about getting him this round? Ryan Hargrave is doing nothing and doesnt look like improving, could be a worthwhile trade in SC. - adamvk - 173 months ago • Waite is back to his best. Jump on him this round!!! - BigV - 174 months ago • i hear he might not be playing this week. The rat is swingn' the axe - iddy - 174 months ago • Please put move back to the backline where you love to slut up the DT points, much appreciated - Jake Cast - 174 months ago
