Rookie-listed Jamaine Jones suited up for the seniors in the latter half of last season. His best performance was an 11-tackle showing against the Swans in round 16, but otherwise he looked mostly like first year players tend to… out of place. With another preseason under his best, Jones will be looking to improve his tallies in 2019.Jones is currently far from Geelong’s best 22, so is poised to spend more time in the twos than in the ones. Add to that the injection of several established players from other clubs, not to mention a certain man named Ablett, and spots in the forward six will be even tougher to come by. Don’t bother with Jones at this stage. -
