Following two unproductive seasons at Gold Coast, half back rebounder Jack Scrimshaw begun to demonstrate the skill set that had him command the seventh selection at the 2016 national draft. Scrimshaw averaged 16 touches across his first nine outings before a knee injury slowed his progress, meaning he only returned to the senior side in round 23.Positive signs were on display in his first year at the Hawks, Scrimshaw playing in nine of the first 10 fixtures. Productive statistically throughout his junior days, the Hawks will be hopeful Scrimshaw can continue that transition. He is overdue a full-season breakout if he can stay fit, making him a late speculator pick in fantasy drafts. -
