TAGS (life club position role style health) (FF #1556) 2019 DT PRE-SEASON OUTLOOK (posted 28 Jan 2019) Grundy does laundry
Typical of full backs, Heath Grundy has posted up almost identical averages over the past three seasons, but from game to game it fluctuates like a yo-yo. His career durability has been excellent, minus a period of absence late in 2018 to focus on his mental health. The new adjustment to the kick out rule might slightly increase his average, but pacier half backs will be the main benefactors in that regard. Grundy is serviceable as bench cover at best. We know what to expect, so as a minimal-risk, yet sub-par-scoring bench option, Grundy will do the job. -

PLAYER DISCUSSION • Nice game Reg. Surely you can keep it simple every week like tonight, and not complicate things like last week. - HotTiges - 162 months ago • I ended up getting on Lake instead. My original assessment was right ie, "A lot of people will come to grief getting on this guy". I nearly got him though. - CamT - 172 months ago • CamT.. bad bad option - nathanswar - 172 months ago • @Juddster5 . With that 92 I'm now a believer. I'm getting on him myself. - CamT - 174 months ago • @Juddster5 . against bottom three teams he averaged 130pts (before Brisbane game) against top eight teams he's averaged 70 (career average). Next three weeks plays against Geelong, Bulldogs and Freo. Will wait to see how he goes. Any 100+ SC scores in the next 3 weeks and I'll change my opinion. - CamT - 174 months ago • he'll drop off, you just wait - miichaael - 174 months ago • this guy played on j brown and still scored 90 GUN!! - googs? - 174 months ago • why's that CamT? - Juddster5 - 174 months ago • A lot of people will come to grief getting on this guy, IMHO. - CamT - 174 months ago • im thinking of dumping ziebell for grundy. Thoughts? - emerson - 174 months ago • could c. bolton's injury make his price go down now that he might play on a main forward? same with eski and kennelly - higgins76 - 174 months ago • he has no reason for his scores to go down mate hes playing great footy. - dyl_2 - 174 months ago • Expect his numbers and average to drop a bit but watching him last weekend he is taking marks instead of punching and playing in-form and with confidence. - moiecoute - 174 months ago • Is Grundy going to keep this up? Not sure to upgrade to him for dangerfield? - muushdagga - 174 months ago • Finally concreting his spot in the senior side, they played him forward initially but has found his spot uo back along side the brilliant Craig Bolton, all of Sydney's backline score and he's no exception - mayzeee - 174 months ago • I wonder what has changed since last year - Juddster5 - 174 months ago • i got him hes really breaking out this year - dyl_2 - 174 months ago • got him last week, will be a solid 80-90 player - googs? - 174 months ago • Thoughts? - Juddster5 - 174 months ago • 5 year still 22 /23 yr old still can get even better i m going to get him, he will ever play how he did last season or be a gun in 2010 he will go up to $320+ - jackoking - 176 months ago
