For both of his listed seasons Hamish Brayshaw has struggled with early injury problems, first with a knee and then turf toe. His statistics have gradually become more consistent at the lower level, with at least 22 disposals in each of his last nine WAFL appearances and an impressive tackle rate of over six.At most other clubs Brayshaw would be best 22 by now, starting off the bench and rotating in midfield. At the Eagles he has served a full apprenticeship, and now probably has to watch Tim Kelly play ahead of him. A sleeper who will probably stay asleep for a while yet, barring a raft of injuries higher in the depth charts. -
