    Grimes joins the greats
    The whips were cracking even more than normal in the Tiger back line this year due to missing stars, which meant the ascension of Dylan Grimes to the best defender of smalls in the land came just in time to hold their defence together for another flag.
    Grimes' duels with Charlie Cameron were possibly the defining moments of the seasons of both their clubs, as the Tiger came out on top despite lacking help around him. Like Nick Smith before him, Grimes' role is far more focused on the man than the ball.
