    Can you mount a case?
    North Melbourne didn't have much to lose after the byes last season, and they gave Declan Mountford every game on the run home to teach him about senior footy. His education took him most places on the ground except forward 50, as he didn't get a single possession within 35m of goal. In his tagging roles, he beat Jack Steven but got torn apart by Gary Ablett jnr.
    Mountford's scoring from his second season was about twenty points below that required by fantasy coaches to attract interest. North has to play the kids from the start of 2018, and Mountford is one of them. In the right role, such as one that involved him being near the ball without having to play a defensive role, might be lucrative enough for him to pique some curiosity.
