Settling in defence after starting his listed life as a ruck/forward, Declan Keilty got close to the seniors but didn't make it in year two. He drew plaudits for his job in the losing VFL grand final side, and averaged 10 disposals across the year.Keilty may be vaulted into the senior side if he wins a positional battle in preseason to be the short-term replacement for Jake Lever as he recovers from his ACL rupture, though he starts at the bottom of the depth chart with good players ahead of him.
