    New chapter for Cory
    A navicular fracture sustained in 2016 led to complications which put Cory Gregson out for the entirety of last season too, though he is scheduled to have a full preseason going into 2018. He suffered from second-year blues before the injury, barely improving on his 20-game debut season with 12 disposals his norm and a goal only every other game.
    Theoretically there is a spot available with the departure of Steven Motlop, though Gregson is going to start from way behind in his quest to pin down a spot in the forward six. The Cats may prefer Nakia Cockatoo when healthy, not to mention new recruit Gary Ablett jnr who will nominally start in attacking 50. He is not a natural fantasy player.
