Plenty of Suns had to play out of position last season as things went south early, and Brayden Crossley was used as a key forward instead of his preferred ruck role. The scoreboard result of 5.7 from 10 games with only six hit-outs in ruck support was unsurprising.Unless newly-minted co-captain Jarrod Witts goes down with injury Crossley is not going to get a shot at the lead ruck role, and the Suns have recruited plenty of key forwards in the off season. He looks to be NEAFL-bound, so leave him to develop. -
