Against many odds, Aaron Mullett made it to the top five rebounders in the league last season with a stellar 84% efficiency, up a dozen points from his previous rate and belying his reputation as a player lacking elite skills. However, he also made bottom six for contested possession rate with 19%, pointing to a lack of pressure on his disposal. His reinvention wasn't enough to keep him on the rebuilding Roo list.Mullett joins Carlton who are without Sam Docherty who was one spot ahead of him in the rebounder list, and he has a strong case to play much the same sort of role for the Blues. It would be too much to think he could replicate all of the qualities of Docherty's All-Australian game, but fantasy coaches in standard leagues just care about basic stats and in that he's got a lot of upside in the Brendan Bolton system. -
