David Hille and Adam Selwood have both been cleared by the Match Review Panel ahead of this week’s final NAB Cup Challenge matches, music to the ears for a large number of frantic fantasy coaches.
Hille looked to be in doubt for Round 1 after a high bump on Shane O’Bree in Friday night’s 43 point loss to Collingwood. He was deemed to have made minimal contact to O’Bree’s head. The ruckman is now free to take on North Melbourne in Bendigo on Friday.
Meanwhile West Coast’s Adam Selwood was also cleared after his hit on Fremantle’s Clayton Hinkley was thrown out, he is free to play Hawthorn at Visy Park on Friday.
Hille’s bump looked worthy a few weeks suspension and the thought of not having him available for the first few rounds. He has not been charged, so fantasy coaches who have him in their side can take a huge sigh of relief.
