The third loss on the trot for Richmond was dispiriting for Tiger supporters not because it was the third time they had lost against top opposition, but because Adelaide beat them so comprehensively. Thirteen goals shared between Scott Welsh and Ian Perrie was a poor indicator for the Tigers' backline, but for the Crows it put paid to whispers that their forwards didn't kick enough goals.
