I had a bit of a play to try and fix sure my my def prems and to strengthen my forward line.

Def: Simpson, Shaw, Hibberd, Waters, Whitecross, Edwards (Goddard (FWD), Wigg)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Selwood, Ward, Van Berlo, Biggs, Anderson (Dumont, Heeney, Freeman)
Ruck: Naitanui, Leuenberger (Read (FWD))
For: Deledio (MID), Frankin, Swan (MID), Bellchambers (RUC), Membrey, Clark (Hogan, Laverde (MID))
Cash Left: $1,600
Bye Structure: 8/13/9
300k+ Players Bye Structure: 3/7/4 which is manageable

The main differences are:

Brayshaw to Anderson which is quite even
Hurn to Shaw which should bring consistency
Menzel to Membrey which should bring higher scores and job security

I'm liking the look of this team as it bring more balance

In response to AaronKirk on Edwards, yes he is not best 22 but theoretically no rookie player should be, rumour is that he is burning up the track and if not picked he can be swapped to another defence guinea pig, they are all guesses at this stage
Love this team although I would trade Membrey back to Menzel or Daniel or even Krakouer as Membrey wont score as well as Hogan.

Thanks MS, Membrey I'm not 100% on, but I am basically looking for someone who will make quick cash, at 180k, could potentially be Membrey, Kommer, even McGuane as a dark horse. However if somehow Menzel or Krak, or Caleb Daniel line up in round 1 then they are probably the best bets.
On Hogan, yes he will score well because he has the tank to get up the ground, as well as the strength to take contested grabs, but between him and Clark, you can guarantee that both of them won't be playing every week as both have injury niggles, and both will be heavily managed by Melbourne and Geelong.
Due to this I want a trustworthy player on the bench that will always be available, so I am thinking probably Kommer if he is named in the best 22, or Membrey who will be given every chance at StKilda

Fair points! Would love your thoughts on my new team!

A bit of a look at a new team, decided I wanted an experienced player at both D4 and M4.

Def: Simpson, Hibberd, Taylor, Henderson, Waters, Goddard (FWD) (Dick (MID), Wigg)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Selwood, Ward, Van Berlo, Heeney, Freeman (Dumont, Steele (FWD), Lambert (FWD))
Ruck: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Read (FWD))
For: Deledio (MID), Frankin, Swan (MID), Bellchambers (RUC), Clark, Hogan (Krakeour (MID), Daniel)
Cash Left: $5,700
200k+ Players Bye Structure: 6/7/4 which is manageable

Would love to hear some comments on this new team

Love this team.
Very similar to mine.
So obviously I cant really fault it.
This team should put you in the top 10k and I think its pushing for top 1k.
Forward line is a bit weak but made up for it in other areas.

Would love your thoughts on my team.

11 keepers there should be enough. Henderson, Taylor and Leuy all 50/50 to be top 10 (or 5 for ruck)
Not much wrong with it well balanced and structured. Your selections are very good as well...
Hendo should be a nice cash cow should make you 100k IMO

Had a look, would this improve my team?

wow nice team, if all the cheapest rookies pan out..can't believe you got so many premos in it lol.

Spotto

Thanks Grufflez, yeah it's a fair point about the rookies, I can always downgrade say Rockliff to Ward and have a spare 100k to play around with if I need to.

Spotto

A few weeks on I have settled on this team

Def: Hibberd, Hurn, Fisher, Henderson, Waters, Goddard (FWD) (Dick (MID), McKenzie)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Ward, Crouch, Van Berlo, Newton, Boekhorst (Freeman, Dumont,  Steele (FWD))
Ruck: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Read (FWD))
For: Deledio (MID), Frankin, Swan (MID), J.Martin, Salem, Clark (Hogan, Daniel)
Cash Left: $8,100

Players worth 500k+: 3/4/1
Players worth 440k+: 3/7/2
Players worth 300k+: 5/8/3

I have chosen a lot of mid price players, but Henderson and waters should rise in price and perhaps even become premiums, leuenberger has a lot of potential and I believe that he will play more centre square and martin more forward and should average around 90, Jack Martin is also very cheap and my hope is that he will follow in OMearas footsteps and average 85-90 in his second year.
Besides them I think Newton and Salem will get plenty of game time for the Dees, NVBs postion will either be himself or Biggs depending on NAB Cup form with both making quick cash.
The bye structure isn't perfect but I think it should be manageable.
Would love to hear some opinions.

fasttrack13

Watch waters he could be a problem, like mid strength, rucks should be pretty good and the forward line is solid as well.
one rookie down back could hurt you a little bit. But everyone is in the same boat

Spotto

taking waters shoulder issues into account (thanks fasttrack13)

Def: Hibberd, Hurn, Fisher, Henderson, Whitecross, Jones (Goddard (FWD), (Dick (MID))
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Selwood, Ward, Van Berlo, Heeney, Boekhorst (Freeman, Dumont,  Steele (FWD))
Ruck: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Read (FWD))
For: Deledio (MID), Frankin, Swan (MID), J.Martin, Clark, Hogan (Laverde (MID), Daniel)
Cash Left: $4,800

Bye Structure

500k+ players 2/4/2
440k+ players 2/7/3
300k+ players 4/8/3

Def:Waters has been replaced by Jones who should get more games with Malceski leaving, and whitecross. I realise that Whitecross might miss early so I will make sure that I have bench rookies that are named.

Mid: I've had to take out Newton to give me some cash to move things around, he has been replaced by Heeney, who if not named can be changed to another rookie. In doing that though I have found money to upgrade Crouch to Selwood.

For:I've had to remove salem which I didn't really want to but Laverde should play early hopefully.

Thoughts on these changes?

Money Shot

Its a pretty solid team really just watch to see how your unique players go in the nab cup and then make changes.

would love your thoughts on mine.

Nice team, not many people selecting jacobs, he could very well be the most important player to have this year, new ruck scoring and loop  hole into Ablett, lots of people will have to trade him in you be left behind
