The other is Nankervis. Saw some footage of him in their intraclub and he looks huge. He's the one I reckon will pop up

I think it comes down to this. The blokes who have Bellchambers will gain an advantage if one or more of the popular rucks (Nicnat, Kreuzer, Leuenberger) gets injured. And recent history suggests it is highly likely that one or two of those blokes will miss some games. Personally I can't sleep at night without ruck bench cover so I can't bring myself to leave Bellchambers out at this stage.

But even if these blokes are named round 1 I wouldnt expect them to last more than a couple of games. When they inevitably get dropped you are back where you started. With no ruck bench cover.

But you can say that about any player in any position. Last year most went with MKing at R4 as a full time loophole option. So you only had the one rookie at R3 as cover as well.

Plus Sydney have one of the weakest/inexperienced/shallow rucklines and in the comp so don't be surprised if Nank overtakes Pyke and Derrickx

Difference is the susceptibility of big men to injury tho, particularly the popular cheaper options everyone's going with. I probably wouldn't feel comfortable with it unless Pyke went down.

Really do hope we see Nank this year tho from a Swans supporters point of view.

The difference is that we have only 1 rookie in the rucks this year. The other positions have at least 2 AND they are more likley to hold their spot than a young ruckman. Plus if they do get dropped there are often other rookies to bring in. That is no often the case with the rucks.

Grufflez

After arguing strongly for ruck coverage in previous years i now realise that it is just plan paranoid/stupid, either have a r/f rookie to swing if you need to bring in a r/f or just use a trade, injuries are what trades are there for...just don't go in with TWO injury prone ruckmen, stay with 1 + safer option, just my 2 cents from previous experiences.

Not sure man. I know they've never been great though

This is why I think some of the averages people have been throwing around for what he will score are crazy. He has never been a huge ball winner either so I think for coverage one of Lobb, Durdin or Nank seem like better options
