Great team structurally.
Not sure on a few picks.
Defence is great can't fault there.
Beams/Griffen/crouch are all risks but really like them! Especially Crouch. Not sure how Beams will go this year and he could be changed to a super premium at his price and I think he won't do as well.
Griffen could be good so I would keep him at that price.
Rucks are strong!
Gray is to expensive for my liking so would look at Goddard/Martin and I'm not sure on Bennell but he is a great pod also think you need ruck cover.

The thing I would defiantly do is
Gray> Franklin/Goddard
Beams> Pendles/Fyfe or favourite super premium I guess.
Would try and find ruck cover also.

Would love your thoughts on my team.

Reason I have stayed away from Pendles/Fyfe/Goddard/Franklin is because they are all Round 12ers and with all my other picks I feel as though I need to not have these blokes to balance my side a lot more across the byes.

Definitely think Beams will continue to score very very well, tipping Brisbane to be somewhat of a force next year.

Gray is a lot of money but I think he is only going to go up. It was out of keeping him or Malceski and in the end dropped Malceski because I think it will be easier to pick him up later on.

Fair enough!

I would still downgrade Gray but do see where you are coming from.
Beams will be a nice pod also!

If you are worried about the bye I would go Bennell to Martin and Gray to Goddard as there is still the same amount of players with that dreaded round 12 bye!!

Big Mac

Looks pretty good so far - Both ruck and def lines look solid so I wouldn't really change much there. Mids have a few pods which is interesting, but I think it would look a lot better with a Pendles/Fyfe in there. You can probably have 3 mids with the same bye before it becomes too much of an issue. Not sure on the Crouch pick, I can't see him improving enough to be a keeper and he won't make much money, so I'd probably look to swap him out. Forward line looks good too although there is a case for not starting Gray. Just had his first year of elite scoring so is probably unlikely to back it up.

If I go Gray > Goddard, Griffen > Pendlebury, Crouch > Steven it looks like this..

B: Smith, Shaw, Newnes, Waters, Whitecross, Hamling (Dick, Newman)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Beams, Steven, Van Berlo, Heeney, Freeman (Boekhorst, Amon, Lambert)
R: Maric, Natanui (Cox)
F: Deledio, Goddard, Bennell, Swan, Membrey, Clark (Hogan, Daniel)

ONLY PROBLEM IS I'M $1.8K SHORT

Where would people get the money from? I'm thinking.. downgrade Selwood or Beams? I do like their bye rounds though

creeker

Very solid and well balanced team here Felsty.
Beams to Sloane with the same bye round could work. Think Sloane will go big this year.
Love the picks of the Mullet and Bennell.

Top work.

Solid team as usual Felsty.

Like the structure as well with some nice PODS in Maric and maybe Bennell.

Would prefer a wait and see on Beams to see how he works with Rich, Rockliff, Redden and Hanley  Sloane would be preferred if keeping byes in contact.

Trade Beams to JPK and that should free up some cash :). Nice team though.

Membrey downgrade... Steele/Krakka
Then you have something to play around with also.

Good ideas guys!

Loving the feedback..

Have settled on this..

B: Smith, Shaw, Newnes, Waters, Hamling, Dick (Edwards, Newman)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Sloane, Ward, Van Berlo, Freeman, Ellis-Yolmen (Laverde, Lambert)
R: Maric, NicNat (Read)
F: Gray, Deledio, Swan, Bellchambers, Clark, Hogan (Steele, Daniel)

$143k left in the bank to play with rookies

Don't really love the Bellchambers pick but I think the cover will be sorely needed at some point or another

This team Is looking amazing!
still think Gray to one of Franklin/Goddard/Martin would be good as I see all 4 averaging with in 5 points of each other.

apart from that great side and good too see you have cash left.

If you do not like Bellchambers you have the cash to go to Lycett - Lycett will be working in partnership with Nic Nat similar to Cox last year so may be worth a shot if he takes your fancy.  Will still leave $32k in kitty to adjust kitty with further option to downgrade Gray if need be. The other alternative to Lycett a little cheaper is Hale but he does not impress me as much as Belly or Lycett.

Yeah look, I think I just don't like Belly because I'm all about getting keepers straight up with my team and only taking risks with a select few - Newnes, Waters, etc. but the new ruck rules almost require you to have an RF otherwise you'll be stuffed! I would hate to cop a donut just because I had no cover..

Another thing to look at is check when Essendon and Geelong play because even if you pick Bellchambers you might not be able to switch him around over the weekend because either of them will be locked in. FRUSTRATING!
