Hey FT,
Welcome mate you have been active with lots of analysis and help yourself.
Great stuff!

Def: Personally I would take only 1 of Hurley or Newnes as  both to me are your breakout contenders.
Hurley is KPP and has been too inconsistent for my liking.
Smith and Heater are both good choices and will be popular.
Just remember Heater can give you lots of Highs and Lows.

Mid:Really good line mate with some premium pods , which is great.
Rocky for me is an upgrade purely on his starting price and the inclusion of Beams , Rich and Christensen.
Crouch is a beauty with SC written all over him and NVB will be a very popular pick at his price.

R  :   Big Boy will be a pod and is a great SC choice when he's at his best.
        Goldy is SC Gold.

Fwd:Look ok but there will definitely need to be dpp ruck cover if you have a non playing F3.
The change in Ruck field layout will make or break coaches Seasons.
Adams is another pod that could prove beneficial but with so many premium Fwd choices we need to choose wisely.

       Overall FS  7/10

I will mention this now and will be used alot .
     Always GWYG.
     Go with your gut.

The 2x W's will be very popular , lets hope Wx stays sound.
Mid : Great line with W & W to great pods I am thinking

Ruc: Nice and popular.

Fwd :Again great mate , The Hoff is my only concern with his overall consistency.

Overall Nas   8/10

Best of luck this year mate

Thanks mate, reasoning with Hoff is being released (hope) he will be all over the place especially with ryder filling in down Fwd, or up the ground with Lobbe being rested.

Thanks GM, I really like my defence I see what you mean though!
I was just flicking through players and found crouch 9/12 scores over 90 I think it is and will only improve. Proud of this find if I'm honest ;)
Ricks nicnat/big boy both chopping and changing. I'm hoping no praying for a rookie to pop up.
I reckon Adams will go min 85, and I'll take that from F6 might have to be my last upgrade if I haven't burnt my trades.
All subject to change though!!!!

Thoughts on Barlow?

Might have to make my own of these threads if it's ok with you ;)?

Keeper27

DEF: 4 premos, and 2 very decent Cheapies. Iffy on Walker, he had a very avg year and still finished with 87.9, i expect that to increase.

MID: Pendles/Joelwood are a must for all teams. Barlow/Boak/Cotchin to improve their avg's. Barlow went mental from Rnd 10 bye till the SC finals he . avg 116.36. Now with no injuries his 78.7 TOG % should increase and so will his avg.
Boak is in the same boat as Barlow. his 79.4 % TOG will increase and so will his avg.

RUC: standard.

FWD: BJ/Swanny/Buddy will be in most coaches team next year.
NRoo is a starting lock for me. the last 3 seasons he's avg 110 in the first 6 rounds. (101.8, 117.8, 110.6). this season will be no difference. this year i expect to be no different. Rnd 1 - GWS (137), Rnd 2 - GCS (118.6), Rnd 3 - Pies (94.6), Rnd 4 - Blues (95.6), Rnd 5 - Ess (107), Rnd 6 - Dogs (105.5).
now against these opponents over the last 3 years he's avg 109.7.

Hey Keeper, don't want to rain on GM's page , but Coq's not due back till May from injury. Then match fitness etc.

Hey Ringo
Hope Christmas was a good one for you and your family.
Very interesting with the new field structure as to how we best deal with it.
Your team as usual is very well structued  and has a couple of good pods.
Def: looks good with a 3 premium set up.Lets hope N.Brown gets up and a couple of other good rookie options.

Mid:Very close to mine mate + Rich & NVB.

Ruc:Will be very popular with DPP Belly back up.

Fwd;I really like with Boomer a great pod.

Overall 8.5 /10

Thanks GM - One of the reasons I wanted $30+k left was to manouvre rookies if need be, Like Brown as I think he can make 100/150k before byes

Hey Keep how's life?
See you have put a lot a thought into your team already.
Def: Really strong mate as long Walker gets back to his best. Not that I'm look at him.
But we need to look at players like him to get in front of the pack.
       Always GWYG.
Mid:Love the Boak inclusion will be at his prime and a great pod.
Ruc:Again will be popular with either Krooz or Berger.
Fwd:Nice , you have Roo as a pod and could start well. Not sure if I would go this way with all the other primo choices.
Missing a ruck DPP link which I think this year is crucial.
Overall  7.5/10
