Believe me, I don't take much notice of premiums scores during NAB, but does anyone, possibly Carlton supporters have any info on Simpson?

Has played closed to 80% TOG in both games for scores of 50 and 78

My first locked defender at D1 and hasn't left once. His history of barely missing games and season after season of averaging mid 90's is why he is my first pick, but just wanting to know if there are any structural changes that might impact his scoring?
Only the one score over 74 in NAB/practice games from the last 2 years before this year. I wouldn't worry too much about it

It's always a good feeling when people start mentioning players you've had in your team for a good two weeks before the pack took notice.  :P

I have had simpson, shaw locked in at D1 and D2, newnes locked at D4 since day one. D3 is driving me insane. This poll had hibberd leading but im an essendon supporter and i just dont rate him that highly. Don't really know much about brodie smith, hes still so unproven. Either gibbo or hodge are really tempting me, or im even tempted to go right down to lumumba. Im not one to read into nab cup at all, but if he goes 3 games in a row with over 100, thats gonna be pretty hard to ignore

Becoming hard to ignore.
Just wish he played against a full strength team to see how he went

Yeah I agree, I just dont think he's gonna be allowed to run around by himself like that though

Adcock putting in a blinder, think he must be considered at 417k.

There is way too many legit options down back

It's funny, there's barely any genuine guaranteed premiums, but sooooo many options to take a shot on

Driving me insane trying to pick from such a large pool

What stopped him from being a gun fantasy player earlier in his career was his body. The more he played in defense he would end up with the odd lockdown job which hurt his scoring. I think if I had to pick one of Adcock or Lumumba I would go with Lumumba

Yeah, I have gone with 2 guys I consider premiums (Simmo and Shaw), 2 guys I have as breakout candidates (Newnes and Lumumba) and then I ideally want two guys 230k or under. Guys like Harry Taylor, Birch, Hurn and Hibberd assuming he doesn't get suspended along with Brodie Smith, Yaz, Hodge, Burgoyne and Bob Murphy could all also be up there. Then there is Malcho who is supposed to be the guy head and shoulders above the rest so I think the right backline POD's could determine who wins the dough this year

Bully

Three seasons of 90 prior to last year indicates he could be a worthy pick, never misses matches too.

This.

I am starting to get pretty set on my team structure and the only thing that keeps changing at the moment is D3-D5.

Exactly, me too mate. I know I want Fisher and Lumumba, but I don't know what spots they fill out of 3,4 and 5, and then who fills the other spot

Mid pricer at 5, premo at 3, 400kish at 4 or 5 etc etc driving me crazy!
