He sort of played that 3rd defender tall this year, still got a fair bit of the pill and was still lethal for them. Only really a problem for supercoach. Nab cup will be a good gage! He has the capacity to play midfield/wing i really hop he gets that chance...

I would love to see him cruising up and down a wing in a similar role to Issacc Smith.....!

Isaac Smith is an elite runner, Mckenzie is below average. Harbrow more likely to push up to the wing.

According to AFL website. Doesn't do cannon any favours. Heard them saying KK needs to become more defensive... Could work wonders for potentially for Le Cannon

Im taking a punt with 4 players on field under 450k in defence. Best case scenario they all make money and maybe 1 or 2 become keepers. I dont see any of them decreasing their average which has allowed me 5 prems in mids plus rich

Thatd be 2 above 450k? Correct...

Ringo

Another to watch in oreseason is Sam Fisher if he can back to his best - nice price.

Big Mac

I'm really liking Ibbotson at the moment - frees up a fair bit of cash

Rampe is getting a good pump up over on SCPaige, any takers? Also another to throw in the mix to take over Malceskis role....Nick Smith....

Don't think Nick Smith will play a rebounding role. Can't afford to use one of the best small defenders in the comp as a rebounding defender.

Rampe is on the radar for sure. If he plays the role Eski did then he could be a great pick.

Newnes is the one i'll take a punt on.

A lot of upside off half-back and maybe more time in the mids.

Rampe, Ibbo and Waters the others i'll keenly watch over pre-season.

Money Shot

Newnes is the one that is looking the goods this year but in his price range are the likes of Rampe, Higgins, Docherty, Lumumba, Thompson, Harbrow and Taylor.

So they would be the more 'premium' guys I would look at.

Sorta looking for a keeper DM even though it's d4. The forwards are rich in rookies it seems at the moment...
I do like Hurley I reckon all Aus CHB this year, really weary of tall defenders though and his bye round upsets me greatly :(
What are people's thoughts on Sydney's HB role... I personally think Rampe will take it, people are saying Rohan but I I'm not sure.

I agree on Mayes aswell

like the way you think FT,  agree Rampe is the most likely to step up.  Cheski is gone and opportunity presents itself. rohan will never be SC relevant.  I cannot believe people still putting him forward after last years performances.

The whisper in the trees is saying Nic Newman a chance of getting the Malceski position. That's one of two big predictions - the other being that there will be a "Malceski position" in 2015.
