As defence is important this year, wondering about potential premo bargains. So...
In your opinion who is the best defender under 450k at this moment in time...?
Didn't make a pole because there could be so many! Thoughts?
Newnes, Lumumba and Rampe spring to mind... Other than that I'm not 100% sure.

Under 450k FT , I would go straight Waters , other than that value to make money , but costing more are Ibbo & Seeds potentially.
If this is for D3 or D4 , straight to Beau imo.

Others to consider would be
Michael Hurley - Capable of going 90+
Jeremy McGovern with DPP
Sam Fisher if he gets back to previous years form
Sam Mayes with a D/C DPP may be worth a look at his price.Training with the forawrd group and that is where he played in 2013.
Bachar Houli will be consistent as well.

Just can't see Mayes getting involved in the SC points with all the other SC champs you have this year Ringo.

Sorta looking for a keeper DM even though it's d4. The forwards are rich in rookies it seems at the moment...
I do like Hurley I reckon all Aus CHB this year, really weary of tall defenders though and his bye round upsets me greatly :(
What are people's thoughts on Sydney's HB role... I personally think Rampe will take it, people are saying Rohan but I I'm not sure.

I agree on Mayes aswell

Money Shot

Waters is the best pick in my opinion even for a keeper.
Maybe Harry Taylor for a pod

Not sure who will take that role for Sydney but I guess their "bye upsets you greatly".

Fair point but Staker who I thought would play forward is training with the defensive group hence my optimism on Mayes,

Nah mate, just chucked Hurley in there and changed one of my midfielder just to fit him in! Like I said all Aus I reckon!

Just interested in Rampe for d4

Mayes 75-85 potentially ceiling average of 90. He's got Zorko, Greene and Taylor to compete with even Robinson. Tough gig

meow meow

There's no way in hell that Mayes will average 90

fasttrack13

Its an absolute unlikely ceiling
