Oxley --> Dumont (via Mckenzie)

And then upgrade Tarrant.

That means I have to play 3 mid rookies though.
Think it would be better to get a premium in for Miller?

PowerBug

5 upgrades left (Before you include Lumumba, Selwood, Griffen who are under-performing), 19 trades. You have to hold Rockliff and look at upgrading through your rookies.

Oxley can go, Lever is good enough to field and there aren't any premium defenders worth trading to this week (As they all have their bye next week). I would avoid Robinson no job security in that Sydney team, Hamling is an option but for Round 12 trade in. Oxley -> Dumont/Amon is probably your best downgrade option this week.

Where you upgrade depends on how well you expect the scoring to be compared to who you would get. So by upgrading Tarrant to say Goddard, you turn a 65-70 into a 100. In return you are fielding Miller (70-75). If you were to upgrade Miller instead to a 110 player, then well maybe trading Miller is the best option to trade out.

If this was my team, I would be doing the following (Granted I haven't looked too closely at your bye structure):
Oxley -> Dumont
Miller -> Beams
With an aim of upgrading Saad (12) on his bye week, Tarrant (13) on his bye week to Goddard (12)
Leader of the King Karl Amon fan club
Coach of WXV side Rio De Janeiro Jaguars
2023 SC: Rank 126

Great reply Power, thanks very much.
Not long after I posted I realised I'm best to hold Rocky and upgrade a rookie so will definitely be doing this.
Hadn't considered Dumont but his bye makes him very handy

#78
D: Shaw, Hibberd, Lumumba, Saad, McKenzie, Lever (Simpson, McIntosh)

M: Fyfe, Pendles, Armitage, JPK, Selwood, Griffen, Vandenberg, Dumont (Krakouer, CEY, Rockliff)

R: Maric, Naitanui (Read)

F: Gray, Swan, Buddy, Mitchell, Tarrant, Clark (Martin, Dale)

17 trades, $17,200

Would be able to field 20 players this week if not for injuries. Can anyone tell me where the following players are at in terms of their chances of playing this week?

McKenzie
Vandenberg
Krakouer
Clark

Any trade advice would be appreciated also as I'm a little stumped

Gigantor

Lever - Zero chance (unless he sneaks into Adelaide oval with a port jumper on  :D)
McKenzie - Good chance to return
Vandenberg - Haven't heard anything but considering he's played every game I'm guessing he'll be out. Maybe even round 12 as well so he gets the 3 week break
Krakouer - No chance, back on the rookie list
Clark - Very small chance to play, was always stated he will be out for 2 weeks, rd 12 return.

Ah of course, I forgot lever was round 11 haha.
Not looking great for me! Thanks though :)

D: Shaw, Houli, Simpson, Hibberd, Saad, Hamling (Lever, McKenzie)

M: Fyfe, Pendles, Armitage, JPK, Selwood, Sloane, Griffen, CEY (Boston, Dumont, Lambert)

R: Maric, Naitanui (Read)

Thinking of doing
Sloane > Hannebery
Dumont > Steele

Ringo

Fair trades Quinny -

Other thought maybe Dumont to Kolo (geelong) via McKenzie to set up another DPP for you which may come in handy if running low on trades.

CEY to TMac yep.
Maybe Selwood to Sidey? less risk of injury reoccurring?

I am doing Selwood to Sidey and Ox to TMac.

P.S. Have a look at my advice thread just below this one if you get a sec.

Cheers mate.

Like those 2 trades. Rocky a bit more reliabe than Sidey in the scoring department.
Mcdonald is priced to buy.

quinny88

Selwood only to miss 1 week changes things. Stick with the trades or back to square one?

Team finished. Good enough to sit on or use those trades?

4 trades, $69,900

D: Shaw, Hodge, Houli, Simpson, Hibberd, McDonald (Lever, Hamling)

M: Fyfe, Pendles, Hanners, Armitage, Kennedy, Rocky, Selwood, Griffen (Steele, Maynard, Knight)

R: NicNat, Maric (Read)

F: Gray, Dahlhause, Dusty, Buddy, Swan, Mitchell (Lambert, Dale)

Only players I really feel like I'm missing out on are Ablett and Goldstein but with both of them being over 700k it's just not gonna happen :(

Griff or Selwood to Ablett would be nice mate but teams good enough to sit pack now for a bit.
