Thought I would have a play around. Rookies obviously all under watch.
Very frustrating trying to pick a Backline. Equally as frustrating trying to pick which forwards to start.
Anyway give me your thoughts. Happy to return the favour

M: Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, Watson, Van Berlo, Morabito, Heeney, Boekhurst, (Freeman, Krakouer, Lambert)

R: Kreuzer, Leuenberger (Cox)

F: Deledio, Goddard, Franklin, Swan, Bellchambers, Clark (Hogan, Laverde)

structure looks fine at this stage mate

RaisyDaisy

Nice looking team there mate - pretty common in terms of line up and structure, but common for a reason :)

Your backline is identical to mine except I currently have Smith to your Shaw, but Shaw is on my radar for sure

Malthouse is persisting with playing Kreuzer as a forward which is turning me off for now, until I see how he goes in NAB

Obviously rookies will change, but as Rico said elsewhere reckon Morabito isn't a lock to start and play regularly

quinny88

Cheers RD.
I nearly pulled my hair out trying to pick that backline haha.

Yeah I heard that about Kreuzer which I think is a bad call by Mick but hopefully I can find the cash to get Nic Nat instead.
Yeah I wouldn't have a clue about most of the rookies to be honest so just threw him in for now. Will make that judgement over the nab challenge.

crowls

Good looking team Quinny,

Simpson overpriced for variability he brings,  Hodge offers DPP
Given kruz is playing up front you will need to look at Minson, Maric Goldstien et al
Strong forward line.  May need to downgrade to get cash elsewhere.

I would rate this team but it is pretty good already.
Good to see that you have some cash left over and pretty expensive rookies to make a few changes with.
Kreuzer and Leuy are locked for me unless Mick plays him up forward.

Great team can't fault the structure at all.
Could you rate my team.

Nice Team Quinny

Agree trying to pick a back line is frustrating. Simpson burnt me big time last year so am staying clear this year so he will probably be great for you.

I ummd and Ahd over the 2 medium rucks but when only 3 rucks allowed went the Premo Mid option.  Hope both have injury free seasons for you.

Forward line is reasonably standard this year, A lot of teams will be playing Belly forward.

Nice team overall and sound structure as well,

quinny88

Thanks guys!

I like simmo for the safety that he will score 95ish and doesn't miss games. Probably the only back men I trust this year despite the fact he can put in a shocker or 2.

Certainly not sold on Kreuzer but will find the cash somewhere to get him upgraded I think.

2nd attempt

D: Simpson, Shaw, Hibberd, Waters, Whitecross, Goddard (Dick, Rainbow)

M: Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, Watson, Van Berlo, Heeney, Laverde, Freeman (Neal-Bullen, Stretch, Lambert)

R: Goldstein, Naitanui (Cox)

F: Deledio, Goddard, Franklin, Swan, Bellchambers, Clark (Hogan, Krakouer)

$135,400

Dropped Hurn down back to allow myself to improve my rucks. Still a but of cash to play around with rookies and mid priced options.
Prefer the look of this team with a set and forget ruck strategy

Gun team, and you still managed to fit in Gazza without really hurting anywhere else. TOP JOB.

Nice Team Quinny - Just watch byes Both Nat and Goldstein share Round 13 bye and Gazz, Pendles and Wrasin Round 12 bye.  Know you will be over that as well.
Like the set and forget Rucks though,

id go burgoyne over simpson. thats a preference though.
mids could improve to 5 premiums.
rucks love it.
i feel you dont need cover with set and forget rucks. bellchambers > steele/daniel. then heeney to steven or see if you can get more cash for greenwood/crouch who i see being bolters and keepers in 2015

its very good though...

Big Mac

Team looks pretty damn close to mine - main difference is you're fielding Swan + Van Berlo whereas I have Ward + Hogan. Any reason you prefer the extra premium in the forwards?

Just for the value BM. Things may change but at the moment I just can't bring myself to not start any of those forwards as I think they are all underpriced.

Thanks FT. Gonna stick with Simmo. Love his durability and almost garunteed to score 95ish.
Burgoyne had a good year but it was a bit out of the blue compared to recent years. He got a lot of mid time due to all of Hawthorns injuries during the year.

You are right Ringo. Have barely considered the byes yet but will no doubt tweak things between now and the start if the year
