Or you could just not overcomplicate things and pick Jobe instead.

No point building teams around Essendon players until the tribunal is done.

or rookie priced  ;)

Of course :)

If you want to take a shot with a breakout contender then I think it has to be someone who you think can push 110+

These are the guys I would consider:

Jack Steven
Leigh Montagna
Andrew Swallow

I think there are plenty of guys who look attractive but will most likely only push 100 or so. I reckon these 3 are the best chances of being underpriced and capable of averaging 110+

Then I reckon these guys will increase their average and worth being a M5 slightly cheaper option

Ryan Griffen
Trent Cotchin
Kieren Jack

As an Eagles supporter I like Chris Masten and Luke Shuey as real smokey's to take it up another level, but wont be picking them
Hey RaisyDaisy,
Was looking at West Coast players and Kieran Jack. What are your thoughts on who will get tagged from West Coast next year? Priddis will definitely get much more attention now that he has won the Brownlow and this could possibly release Shuey and Gaff from being tagged and an increase in scoring because of this as well.

Kieran Jack is also an interesting one as well. He was ranked 10th (in 2012) and 9th (in 2013) in Supercoach ranking in the whole comp. His scoring in 2014 was probably a factor of his limited pre season due to his back injury and this resulted in him missing the first game and coming into the the side a little under done. Another reason for his downfall could also have been the emergence of Parker in the midfield. Definitely one to watch though.

Priddis wont get tagged. Shuey and Gaff will always attract the tag. As much as I love Priddis he is priced at a 112 average which I cant see him really pushing more, so if anything I would get him later in the season if/when he drops in price.

As for Jack, Parker would have some influence in his scoring but I think it was the roles he was playing and position on the ground. I don't think he played in the guts as much as previous years. If he is starting in the mids this year I think he is a real POD who is underpriced and should increase his average and value

Interestingly West Coast only had the two midfielders average over 90 last year. Masten should be able to hopefully go back to his 2013 form that saw him average 97. Still remains to be seen if he can crack the 105+ barrier though.

Masten will never go 105+. He is too small, so he will never win enough contested ball. He rarely ever kicks long and his footskills are still a bit shaky at times so he won't ever be a NDS type who does it with skill. He is an elite runner and beard grower and unfortunately those things don't translate well to SC scoring.

Heppell.

Will average 110+ and push Watson as our number 1 mid in 2015

Yep definitely my prime candidate for M5 atm. Will wait and see how the ASADA thing goes but should definitely be worth a look.

I like him a lot and will consider for my team

I watched him a bit last year and he is really starting to show he can take his game to the elite level. His season was very consistent and he improved through the year. Wont take much for him to push the 115 mark.

Brad Crouch, Ryan Griffen, Ollie Wines, Daniel Hannerbrey, Trent Cotchin and David Mundey are the ones I like for breaking out or returning to premium status!
What are your thoughts.
I think all could and think most will go 110-115 this season.

Kid is a jet, but I don't think he can beat his average by 20. I think more 100-106 would be more realistic but defs one to keep an eye on!
