Just had a 10 minute play around on Supercoach Paige's The Strategiser.
Would love your thoughts on this side! :)

DEF: Kade Simpson, Brodie Smith, Micheal Hibberd, Shannon Hurn, Beau Waters, Brendan Whitecross  (Harrison Wigg, Matthew Dick)
MID: Gary Ablett, Scott Pendlebury, Joel Selwood, Jobe Watson, Isaac Heeney, Aaron Vandenberg, Nathan Freeman, Jayden Laverde  (Kane Lambert, Jack Steele, Alex Neal-Bullen)
RUCK: Nic Naitanui, Matthew Leuenberger  (Mason Cox)
FWD: Brendon Goddard, Lance Franklin, Jarryd Roughead, Dane Swan, Steven Motlop, Mitch Clark  (Nathan Krakouer, Hugh Goddard)

Cash left: $4000

LOL your team looks very similar to mine!  :P (Identical Backlines)

Not a fan of Motlop this year with so many more premium players being made forwards now - cant see him being a Top 10

Roughead is a unique pick for sure and I think you have to start Jesse Hogan at 130k too

Really nice side. Surprised that it fits under the cap actually!
You've saved a lot of money by selecting cheaper rookies so hopefully they can all get a game round 1.
If not, I think your side would still be super strong if you downgraded Motlop and used that money to get the rookies you need

GM

Nice Team mate.
The only concern fo me is a ruck back up.
There will be a lot of trades wasted this year or donuts copped unless we have back up in the rucks.
Both Leuy and Kruez are coming off injury ridden years  , so having no support will be messing with danger.

HAHAHA they are too! Great minds think alike :P ;)
Hmmm as GM stated that the ruck backup is a little concerning, should i bring belly in for motlop? Gives me flexibility and gives me cash to get better rookies like Hogan.

RaisyDaisy

I have the same ruck setup as you but I've got Belly in the forwards

With only 1 ruck bench this year, I reckon we need to be playing a ruck in the forwards for coverage, and Belly is underpriced and should be the number 1 ruck now with Ryder gone

Once you add him our teams are going to be nearly identical!  :o

Very very good team here.
Only fault is no ruck cover so:
Motlop to belly which would leave you money for rookie upgrades.
Could you rate my team.

Update 15/2/15

Back: Simpson, Smith, Hibberd, Hurn/Birchall, Newnes, Lever (Goddard, Viojo-Rainbow)
Mid: Ablett, Pendles, Jelwood, Ward, NVB, Biggs, Freeman, Boekhorst (Heeney, Krakouer, Lambert)
Ruck: Jacobs, Nic Nat (Nankervis)
Forward: Goddard, Buddy, Swan, Salem, Clark, Hogan (Daniel, Steele)

Cash left: $6,300 or $16,900 (depending on who i start out of Hurn and Birchall)

- See 14 potential keepers
- Gone strong in the backline due to all the dilemma.
- Set and forget ruck
- A touch slim in the forward but i see a lot of value there

Would love your thoughts and willing to rate your team as well. Just ask :)

AlexIsOnFire

If be more inclined to spend more $$ in the FwD line as historically forwards score more then backs....

Birchall ruled out for 6 weeks, aside from that I can't fault ur team at this stage of the year

fasttrack13

Questionable huge spend down back. defence seems to be a place where there's cash to be mad in midprice department.
Midfield is spot on and same with the rucks.
Fwd line needs attending too, Salem at F4 seems a little light on.

Quality team

Samsturmfels

team looks good, too much money spend in your def, and not enough in your fwd and mid

plz give my team feed back http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,100650.0.html

Love this team.
Can't really fault it ...
