And you get the impression that he's going to come straight back in

With the injuries I don't think they have a choice  :P

The main reason people suggest Hugh Goddard's a chance is because he's named Goddard.

not really
Yeah tbh apart from 'Goddard', unless his last name was 'Jass' or something I probably wouldn't be interested

hahahaha

Only downside is he's another round 12 bye

Glenn missing another week is okay by me. As long as he's back before the byes.

Hugh goddard a smokie as the sam fisher replacement

Wallis at 325k sounds like a bargain to me now with lack of rookies.
Allows me to offload Lulumba and pocket cash and upgrade Cripps to Rocky too.

Need to get cunning with trading. Trading a premo to a fallen premo might be a nice way to net some cash.
Fyfe > rocky gives me about 200k, good trade?

Right idea but Fyfe is a must have.
Armitage to Rocky would be closer to a possibility.

Actually looking at maybe offloading jack Steven in round 12.  His 171 will take his price to around 575k. Up from 455k at the start.  Eases the rnd 12 congestion and could help me upgrade to some tasty rnd 11 bargains.  Houli, birchall, smith etc,

To stay at 575k he would have to average 115.  Not sure that would continue for the last 10 rounds?

Careful of the bye situation. Assuming you are moving Mckenzie to the backs to bring Wallis in?

What is the point in Wallis

The same point people picked Tom Mitchell.  Will make money and score reasonably well.  Lack of rookies making people creative.

But Mitchell has the potential to be a top 10 foward, Wallis doesn't

Wallis has better job security than Mitchell.  Isn't that also important?

I have to get rid of Lulumba this week. Wallis will be a keeper as m9 or m10 at the end. Liba gone for year. Griffen not there. 115 in a loss last week. I think there are worse options.

Both good points, I just see Wallis as a huge gamble, I just think you can optimise your money a lot better and save a trade down the track, I'm not sure if there's much difference between Wallis and Mitchells JS. but the gamble with Mitchell is a lot safer
