Anyone thinking of grabbing Steele or Lambert just for a cash grab/cash preservation? Having one of them sitting on the mid bench surely couldn't hurt so long as your other 2 bench warmers are playing?

I think I'll grab Lambert this week, get the most out of downgrading Lonie. As long as you don't already have 1-2 non playing rookies (Goddard, Hamling, etc) I don't see an issue.
Just make sure they do not have the same bye weeks though  ;)

Anyone got anything on Sheed? Doesn't seem to be getting a mention anywhere. Nothing in the barometer or in the mix: round nine

He has a hand fracture and probably won't play this week

anyone looking at Fitzpatrick? scored 78 in his first game, could we hold him for two weeks until he rises?

I guess the main question everyone wants to know is

JS/Chance of playing in the coming weeks of the following...

JS of:
Dale, B
Glenn, J
Dumont, T

Chance of:
Steele, J
Lambert, K

Anyone able to help out in anyway?

At around 270k he isn't worth it man.

JS of Dale, Glenn + Dumont are poor for each.

Slim to nil chance at this stage for Steele or Lambert I would have thought.

Lambert still injured… about 3-5 ish weeks off (because would play 2s first) if selected.
Steele killing it in the 2s, but GWS travelling too well. Even if named JS would be poor.

Looking through the previous posts it looks like trading any rookies at this point is not really worth it... Hold trades now I guess?

Goddard is unlikely to play this week even with Fisher out. We didn't bring him in last week vs WCE even though they have good talls and Delaney was out. With Delaney to come back in and Brisbane playing a forward line full of smalls I just don't see it happening.

The main reason people suggest Hugh Goddard's a chance is because he's named Goddard.

Yeah tbh apart from 'Goddard', unless his last name was 'Jass' or something I probably wouldn't be interested

And you get the impression that he's going to come straight back in
