Has anyone any knowledge concerning Alex Pearce of Fremantle ??
Is on the bubble this week as a defender and has an average of 53.
Would be nigh impossible for him to have any sort of job security,

I had Wigg in my side during the pre-season. Good wraps on the kid, and hopefully he gets a shot now because a 117k defender would be delicious right about now!

Looks like MacKay will slot back in, and Wigg might not get a go for a couple of weeks, but hopefully he does eventually

I'm really struggling to figure out what trades I should do this week, and the major cause of my concern is the lack of downgrade options

Stretch, Amon etc don't interest me, because I already have Glenn and McKenzie on my mid bench and cant afford to have another shaky rookie

Lever doesn't appeal to me much because I'm not sure on his JS, but more so his price tag means I don't really get a good profit

Are guys like Wigg or Sharenberg options? I know having floating donuts is not ideal, especially before the byes, but these two might get games eventually

Is Pearce worth getting to sit at D8? Could he get games again once McPharlin and Dawson return?

Obviously I'm getting pretty desperate lol

McInnes as a forward for 160k is also interesting me, but again I don't get a good return on my rookie downgrade if I have to spend an extra 30-40k on guys like Lever and McInnes

I loaded up on cash the last few weeks with rookies, unfortunately it meant that my scores suffered and I now also have Glenn after going a week early. If I was to go early on a rookie or 2, the guys I would look at are players that look like they will get games in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately a few of them are around the 160k mark already, but this is the list of names I would be targeting assuming 1 or 2 don't pop up out of the blue

I am waiting for Lambert to get fit as well and then he obviously comes onto my mid bench

A bit of an ask at 202k but De Goey getting 88 on the weekend has me interested, 11 in his first game as a sub would turn a few people off but if he gets another full game could be worth picking up. Bit of a lack of downgrade options in general though

That's more what I'm thinking. And I've gotta be honest and say I've never really got on board this whole "200k rookies don't make cash" thing... 123k rookies who aren't playing don't make a whole helluva lot either :P
