Question re. Ahmed Saad, worthy of F6 or F7?

Just went through his 2012 stats and there were some good scores. From 13 matches he recorded a 105, 91, 82, 81, 80, 76 & 75, included in that were 2 sub affected scores which distorts his average.

Better than Hogan?

Has he been elevated yet?

Forgot about that, do the Saints have any LTI's?

I just had a quick look

Markworth - Indefinite
Murdoch - Indefinite
Gilbert - 6-8
Ray 10-12
Ross - 9-11
Siposs - 12-16

A few of those guys will be potential LTI's

Also you would think Siposs is done as an AFL player at the Saints.

Missing that much footy this season it is going to be tough to show anything. He could get a rookie spot next year and allow him t try and show he has what it takes to play at the elite level

LOL - I was hanging out for the answer to this one.  If he does get elevated and you were to pick one would it be Saad or Hogan?

Hogan. Saad's last season of Footy he averaged 49, Hogan could probably average something similar to Saad and is about 20k cheaper. You also have better job security with Hogan so he is less likely to get dropped

I'm not interested in Ahmed Saad at all - he and Membrey just don't interest me one bit

SC should deduct points for that ridiculous run up!

Is Newton a must? I don't have him at the moment but I can't help to think that being at Melbourne and similarly priced he might be the Tyson of 2015.

Wouldnt expect TyTyson-like numbers. Maybe an 80, which is pretty good. I'd rather save the money on a Heeney or CEY if they're named (and I feel like they will be).

Funny you say that, because I cant shake the feeling that he could be the Viv Michie of 2015
