Great team RD, if your rookies get up I think you'd be quite happy with that. I'd been playing with similar to try and work a 5th gun mid into my team but just can't manage it, a couple of players I'm really not happy leaving out (Like Titchell! Get around him!) - funny the difference just a couple of players makes to overall structure. Great job.

RaisyDaisy

Thanks for dropping by GC - always nice to hear from you :D

Sammy, there are plenty of threads about the benefits - have a look around :)

Big Mac

Really like the structure - Have played around with it myself but still can't get it to work for me

You haven't got any dosh left hey RD? Just thinking I'm not that excited by Maric/Nat combo, could pay off as I don't doubt their scoring ability just their ability to stay on the park. Nat I reckon is worth the punt, Maric is the one I'd rather another option. Obviously it allows you a great side, I can't see what I'd like to swap to allow you some more cash (I reckon NVB is worth it and Gray is carving up, and also pretty consistent, would you really want to DG?). If you really back Maric then go nuts :)

Well he obviously missed a chunk last season, but when he came back he did well

In his 2 premo seasons prior he only missed a total of 4 games, which is good for rucks (Goldy and Sauce maybe the two exceptions)

I just think he represents excellent value, especially with the new ruck rules. We are expecting all ruck averages to drop, and being priced at 99 shouldn't see him lose any money. I think he can push 110, and even if I had more I don't think I would change him to anyone else. I really like what he represents and what he is capable of this year

Granted he doesn't have the ceiling that some of the other rucks have, but he rarely goes under 90 and I save a fair chunk over the other rucks. Basically I see a lot of value for money in him :)

Rd11 bye is good too :)

tbagrocks

Wow interesting team, but it looks like it works! Nicely done

Doesn't Saad need to be promoted to the Senior list at GC?

I'm just hoping he will be named for round one, as I will also then likely have 5 premo mids.

Not a fan of Maric, just don't trust his body at all, even less when the coach says he is managing a chronic injury.

That's a lot of cash in defence. It's probably a necessity but it does weaken the forwards.

With all the Fwd/Mid DPP's available hopefully a couple burn early for you. Otherwise it's going to cost a lot to get 6 of the top 10 forwards into your side.

Round 1
Score 2103
Rank 11608

DEF: Simpson, Shaw, Lumumba, Goodes, McIntosh, Saad (Brown, Oxley)

MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Jelwood, Dangerfield, Vandenberg, Heeney, Ellis-Yolmen (Cripps, Cockatoo, Miller)

RUC: Naitanui, Bellchambers (Read)

FWD: Gray, Bartel, Martin, Swan, Salem, Clark (Hogan, Lonie)

Don't plan on using any trades this week.

If Miller gets dropped at least I can loophole Cripps on Friday night

If Bartel is out, it's going to suck to have to be a premo down so early in the season (both for league and overall) but I'll just loophole Hogan I guess
