I would really look at Buddy and Cotchin.
But as you said you don't like Cotchin so Buddy and Sloane for me.

With the proposed change my team now has a much better bye structure of 9/11/10

DEF: Kade Simpson, Brodie Smith, Michael Hibberd, Shannon Hurn, Beau Waters, Brendan Whitecross (Matthew Dick, Harrison Wigg)

MID: Gary Ablett, Scott Pendlebury, Joel Selwood, Rory Sloane, Jobe Watson, Isaac Heeney, Aaron Vandenberg, Nathan Freeman (Jack Steele, Alex Neal-Bullen, Kane Lambert)

RUC: Nic Naitanui, Matthew Leuenberger (Mason Cox)

FWD: Brett Deledio, Lance Franklin, Dane Swan, Tom Bellchambers, Mitch Clark, Jesse Hogan (Hugh Goddard, Nathan Krakouer)

$26.400 remaining

JPK to Sloane is the single change I've made

I do have the option of getting Dangerfield or Cotchin and then changing Buddy to Gray, but think I'll just stick with this for now

Money Shot

Your team looks great.
Still not sold on Gray as of yet as I don't see him being worth the money.
Also Dangerfield is a gun but  with contract talks happening I'm not confident in him.
could you rate my team.

I've edited my post since you posted this. Not going with Gray for now - 600k is too much, so I'll keep Buddy for now and just change JPK to Sloane

Love your team now.

Looking good mate, some nice premos and cheapies that should be in the mix for round one. My main beef would be Bellchambers, I understand the strategy but it just seems like too much money sitting on the bench. Could you put him in the forward line and have Mason Cox or another R/F there instead? Or cash him in and use the money elsewhere?

You've looked at the OP

My team is 5 posts above :)

Ricochet

I like Cotchin/Danger + Gray more mate. There isn't much diference between them an Sloane, they could even better him. But Buddy could start slow like this year and Gray should be more consistent

Not that it will fit for you atm,
Sloan and Gray.
Both locked for me

RaisyDaisy

Yeah its a tough choice Rico - but luckily I have plenty of time to sit on it and think about it :)

GM, that would be ideal, but would require me making a downgrade elsewhere  :(

Money Shot

If you look at Franklins record against the teams he is versing in the first 5 rounds he should be off to a flying start.

Fid

I'd go Griffen, was injured most of last season and ongoing friction with his previous coach.  Should bounce back to All Australian form.

He's an option for sure, but I'd like to see how he fits in with all those kids at GWS first

Griffen, Cotchin and even Dangerfield stand out to me as being guys who are underpriced

I'll just leave the team as is for now until NAB roles around. Don't want to spend hours and hours doing my head in for no reason lol

Ringo

Surprised as an Eagles man RD you have not considered Priddis for your mids. As we know super consistent and last year he threw in a couple of big scores as well.

He definitely is an option Ringo, and I've had him over the past couple of years but I have always grabbed him later in the season. Might be a great POD to start with this year and is in the mix for that starting M4 spot alongside Sloane, Griffen, Cotchin and Ward

Being a WCE fan is irrelevant though - I don't let my love for WCE impact my SC :)
